9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

NEWTON, September 21, 2026 – The Catawba County Board of Education will hold a work
session on Monday, September 28, 2026, at the Catawba County Schools Center for
Administrative Services (2285 North Anderson Avenue, Newton, North Carolina). The work
session will be held in the boardroom and begin at 9:00 a.m.

Please note that the actual times listed on the tentative agenda may vary. No action is taken
during a work session. To ensure everyone’s safety, the work session is subject to a 60-seat
occupancy cap for the public. No standing will be allowed in the boardroom.

NEWTON, September 21, 2026 – The Catawba County Board of Education will hold a regular
meeting on Monday, September 28, 2026, at the Catawba County Schools Center for
Administrative Services (2285 North Anderson Avenue, Newton, North Carolina). The meeting will
be held in the boardroom beginning at 6:00 p.m.
To ensure everyone’s safety, the regular meeting is subject to a 60-seat occupancy cap for the
public. No standing will be allowed in the boardroom during the meeting or public hearing.
Catawba County Board of Education offers live streaming of regular meetings. Please join by

Members of the public may use the link below to sign up in advance for the public comment
section of the meeting. Online responses are time-stamped and will close at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on
September 28, 2026. Members of the public may also sign up at the meeting. A sign-up sheet
for public comments will be available before the meeting is called to order.
