  • The two student days missed on January 9th and 10th will be absorbed from our built-in calendar time. Please note that this will be decided on each individual weather occasion based on the amount of time built into our school calendar for the 16-17 school year.

  • Just in Time for the New Year

    Just before Christmas, Ms. Sharon Harwood, Administrator and teacher for COMPASS Academy, of Catawba County Schools, her students and staff opened up boxes of new books for COMPASS, bought with funds provided by The Rotary Club of Catawba Valley.

  • CCS Trainers Complete ARC Training

    All Catawba County Schools Athletic Trainers recently completed an American Red Cross training program and are now certified trainers for Adult/Infant/Child CPR/FA, AED.

  • BHHS Student Artwork takes 3rd place in NCASA

    A team of eight students from Bunker Hill High School submitted artworks to the NC Association for Scholastic Activities Art Showcase and finished in 3rd Place earning them an invitation to the State Finals on December 3, 2016 in Durham.
